The Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) has decided to imbibe Prime Minister Narendra Modi's pet project 'Make in India' by utilizing biofuel in a big way. It has inducted 25 Scania buses that run completely on biodiesel. Rajender Kumar Kataria, MD KSRTC, believes that using biofuel not only promotes the local industry but also cuts down on pollution by up to 70 per cent.
