Imperium Renewables, the nation's second largest biodiesel producer, today released the following statement applauding the Environmental Protection Agency's (EPA) decision to allow domestic sales of biodiesel produced from all canola grown in North America.
Imperium Renewables President and CEO John Plaza, said:
"Today's EPA announcement is good for Imperium Renewables, good for farming communities in North America, and good for the U.S. fuel consumer. This ruling opens up the North American canola industry to be a viable supply of biomass for advanced biofuels like biodiesel, and allows Imperium to sell our fuels domestically into the U.S. Market.
