China Integrated Energy actualiza planos de expansão

China Integrated Energy, (NASDAQ:CBEH), an integrated energy company based in Shaanxi, China, provided on Thursday an update for its expansion plans.

Earlier this month, the company made a $9 million deal that includes 15 acres of land as well as storage tanks with 15,000 cubic meters of storage capacity. The deal is expected to close by the end of the first quarter.

One of the priority project for 2011, the company said, will be building a 300,000-ton biodiesel plant at the site.

The plant will be constructed in two phases, with the first phase having a production capacity of 200,000 tonnes and an estimated cost of $37 million. The construction of the first phase is expected to be completed in the first quarter.

The company said the first phase will ramp up to 90% capacity in the fourth quarter of 2012, and expected to reach full utilization in 2013. The facility is expected to contribute $84 million in annual revenue in 2012 and $140 million in annual revenue in 2013.
