Food manufacturer Al Islami Foods is to help supply SS Lootah’s biodiesel for heavy trucks recycling programme.
Al Islami has opened up a recycling centre at its headquarters that will collect waste cooking oil that can be fed into SS Lootah’s new biodiesel initiative.
“We are pleased to support the launch of the recycling unit as a pioneering step that turns the growing environmental awareness in the UAE to a practical initiative with tangible economic and environmental benefits,” said Saleh Abdullah Lootah, managing director, Al Islami Foods Group.
